Put a number in every bullet
Achievements rather than duties. Quantified bullets are worth 20 of the 100 points.
What to do
- Click the Experience tab.
- Pick a bullet that describes a duty.
- Rewrite it around what changed: a percentage, a dollar figure, a count, a timeframe.
A bullet starting with "responsible for" describes the job rather than you; anyone who held that title was responsible for the same things. What lands is what you did differently and what it produced.
Numbers are how a reader calibrates scale in a hurry — team size, budget, users, volume, the percentage you moved. Bullets carrying a figure are worth 20 of the 100 points on their own, which makes this the single biggest thing you control here.
