These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of gurus-consulting.com and the Gurus Resume Builder application (together, the “Services”), operated by 2179503 Ontario Ltd., operating as Gurus Consulting. By using the Services you agree to these Terms.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for activity under it. You must be at least 16 years old. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or abuse the Services.
The Resume Builder offers a free plan and paid subscriptions (Pro and Premium) billed monthly through Stripe. Paid plans begin with a 14-day free trial: a valid payment method is required to start the trial, and the first charge occurs automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel before that time. You can cancel, upgrade, or downgrade at any time from your dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period (or trial), and fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law. Prices may change with at least 30 days’ notice.
You retain all rights to the resumes and other content you create or upload. You grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely to provide the Services (for example, scoring your resume, generating exports, or producing AI rewrites you request). You are responsible for the accuracy of your resume content.
AI rewriting features produce suggestions based on the text you provide. You are responsible for reviewing suggestions before use and for ensuring your resume is truthful. We do not guarantee interview invitations, job offers, or any particular outcome from using the Services, including ATS scores, which are estimates based on common applicant-tracking criteria.
You agree not to misuse the Services — including attempting to breach security, scrape or resell the Services, circumvent plan limits, upload malicious files, or use the Services to create false or misleading credentials.
Program/project management consulting and career coaching engagements are governed by their individual agreements or statements of work; these Terms apply to your use of the websites and applications.
The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the same extent, our total liability arising out of the Services is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
